Thank you, Izzy!

Thank you, Izzy, for calling me your superhero! But all of you are MY heroes! I learn from each of you every single day!

Superheroes can come in all shapes and sizes

What makes a superhero a superhero? Our class decided a superhero is someone who helps others, stands up for what they believe in, has a growth mindset, never gives up, always does what's right, and has a positive attitude! Who is your superhero?

NHPTV Writers Contest

NHPTV Writers Contest

Starting next week, students in our class will be creating stories to enter into the NHPTV Writers Contest!  Students will be writing original narratives that are between 100 and 350 words.  They will also be creating 5 original illustrations / pieces of art to accompany their stories.  With parent permission, I will send completed student submissions to NHPTV.  Three winners will be chosen for each grade category and everyone else will receive a certificate! All stories that meet the requirements will also be featured on the website.  We have a class full of amazing authors and I can't wait to see what they all come up with! This will be the first time that our class enters this contest, so I am not sure of exactly how long the project will take us, but the deadline is March 31, 2017.
