Beauty and the Beast Venn Diagrams

After spending the week reading Beauty and the Beast, our class watched the Disney version.  While watching the movie, students completed a venn diagram of similarities and differences between the two.  Finally, they used Kidspiration to show their thinking!

This week in science...

our class used Numbers to create graphs showing our plant growth.

Book It!

Don't forget about Book It! Students that read a book in their Lexile Level and complete a well thought out book report by the end of the month will earn a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut! This is an optional program that will be taking place from October to March.  Students can participate in as many, or few, months as they would like.  This is meant to encourage students to read texts that are appropriate to their reading level and should be fun!

Secret Word...

Any student that checks the blog tonight and tells Mrs. Largy the secret word tomorrow morning will be entered into a drawing for a cool prize!

The secret word is "buzz".
