Cawley Musical

On Thursday, April 8th our whole school will be going to Cawley Middle School to see the 8th grade musical production Flat Stanley! We will be returning to school by 11:30 and hot lunch will still be available.

We're going on a field trip!

On Wednesday, April 7th we are going on a  field trip! We will be going to Pinkerton Academy to see a play!  Please be sure to bring a bagged lunch as we will be eating in our classroom once we return to school. Also, permission slips along with the $2.00 is due by Monday, April 5th.

Homework during SBAC!

Due to testing in the upcoming weeks, our nightly homework will be reduced.  Students will only be responsible for completing a quick math fluency activity or spelling activity and reading for 20 minutes each night.  Homework logs will still be due each Friday.

And the winner is...

HALEY!  Haley was the winner of this week's math challenge.  This week, students that wished to participate completed a two step bar model.  Haley, Payton, Tori and Amanda successfully solved the problem and had their names entered in a drawing.  Haley was this week's lucky winner! William leads the Pledge of Allegiance at School Board Meeting

William from our class was chosen to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the School Board Meeting held at Cawley Middle School on Tuesday, March 3, 2015!  Will was chosen to take on this great honor as recognition for showing expected behaviors and going above and beyond in the classroom.  Way to go Will! We are all proud of you!
